Indications
This Powder is effective against various gm(+)ve & gm(-)ve bacteria such as E.Coli, Salmonella as well as Mycoplasma. This Powder is used to treat & prevent:
- Salmonellosis
- Colibacillosis
- Infectious Coryza
- Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
- Mycoplasmosis in poultry.
- This Powder is mainly active against Respiratory tract & Gastrointestinal tract infections.
- This Powder is poorly absorbed from the GIT which ensures longer action at GIT; it develops its main action in the intestine against E.coli, Salmonella & Enterobacter.
- This Powder has good affinity towards the lungs & is therefore especially useful for the treatment of bacterial respiratory infection.
- This Powder is effective at low doses.
- This Powder prevents mixed infections & mortality of day old chicks.
Dosage & Administration
Poultry:
- <2 month: 0.5 gm/litre of drinking water for 3-5 days.
- >2 month: 1 gm/litre of drinking water for 3-5 days.
- For Treatment: 100-150 gm this Powder mixed with 100 Kg Feed for 3-5 days.
- For Prevention: 30-50 gm this Powder mixed with 100 Kg Feed for 5-7 days.
- 2 gm/day/15 kg body weight for 5 days. or as prescribed by the registered veterinary doctor.
Precautions & Warnings
Don't uses to animals with seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic functions. It should not be used to the animals hypersensitive to Tetracycline. This Powder should not be used combine with Penicillin & Cephalosporin.
