Indications
For the prevention & treatment of Necrotic enteritis, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Fowl Cholera, Mycoplasmosis, Omphalitis, Arthritis etc. caused by microorganisms like Clostridium perfringens, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Campylobacter spp., Pasteurella, Mycoplasma spp., Staphylococci, Listeria spp. etc. in poultry.
Composition
Each ml contains-
- Lincomycin (as Lincomycin HCL BP) 250 mg
- Neomycin (as Neomycin Sulfate USP) 140 mg.
Pharmacology
Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic. It irreversibly binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. Neomycin is a broad spectrum bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic. It irreversibly binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. Thus both Lincomycin & Neomycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis.
Dosage & Administration
Route of administration: For oral administration only.
Poultry: 1 ml/1-1.4 L drinking water for 5-7 days.
Or, as directed by the registered Veterinarian.

Interaction
With medicine: Should not be used with Erythromycin, Kaolin & oral Penicillin.
With food & others: Absorption is reduced in the presence of food.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in birds hypersensitive to Lincomycin &/or Neomycin.
Side Effects
Common: No side effects are observed when mentioned dosage regimen is followed correctly.
Rare: Ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity, severe diarrhea, inflammation & intestinal malabsorption.

Precautions & Warnings
Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours. Do not use in horse, ruminant & rabbit. Chronic use of oral aminoglycosides may result in bacterial or fungal superinfections. Aminoglycosides are eliminated through renal mechanism, so caution should be taken during using in neonatal & geriatric animals.
Withdrawal Time: Poultry: Meat- 0 (zero) day. Egg- Egg must not be consumed up to 3 days after administration of this medicine.
