Saw palmetto (500 mg)
This is indicated in urination problems in benign prostatic hyperplasia stages I & II.
Each capsule contains Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) fruit 500 mg.
Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) fruit is most commonly used to treat problems related to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Multiple mechanisms of action have been proposed and Saw palmetto appears to possess 5-alpha reductase inhibitory activity (thereby preventing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone). Estrogenic effects as well as direct inhibitory effects on androgen receptors and antiinflammatory properties have also been reported.
