Indications
This suspension is used in respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary & reproductive infections in poultry. It is used for the treatment and prevention of different infections caused by gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma in poultry e.g. colibacillosis, salmonellosis or pullorum disease, fowl typhoid, pasteurellosis or fowl cholera, gastroenteritis, chronic respiratory infection (CRD) & secondary infection of viral diseases. This suspension is also used when other antibiotic and chemotherapeutic agents are not effective due to development of resistance.
Dosage & Administration
This suspension should be used daily with drinking water. At first required dose should be mixed with little quantity of water which is then mixed with total quantity of water for easy dissolution. Shake the bottle before use.
- Poultry treatment: 1 ml suspension with 5 litres of drinking water daily for 4-6 days.
- Poultry prevention: 1 ml suspension with 10 litres of drinking water daily for 2-3 days.
Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to active ingredients.
Side Effects
At the recommended dose, side effects are rare and mild.
Precautions & Warnings
Withdrawal Period: Poultry (Broiler) treated with this drug should not be slaughtered for human consumption for a period of 5 days after last treatment
Storage Conditions
Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children. To be dispensed only by or on the prescription of a registered veterinary doctor.
