Indications
Use full strength for:
- Pre-operative propping of skin and mucous membranes
- Preventing bacterial infection
- Emergency antisepsis of minor lacerations, abrasions, and bums
- Post-operative application to surgical incisions
- For use on companion animals, including dogsr cats, and horses
- For preparation of the skin prior to surgery
- Helps to reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection
- Disinfection of poultry shed, floor and equipment's
- Disinfection of poultry feeder waterier, case and incubator
- Disinfection of slaughter house and gumboot
- Used as disinfectant in foot bath
- Topical use: Any injury, hump sore, FMD etc
Dosage & Administration
- Foot and Mouth Disease, Pododeramatitis, Interdigital necrobaciliosis: 8 ml/liter of water for foot bath Disinfection of houses & utensils of animal.
- Routine disinfection: 3.5 ml/liter of water for fogging.
- Newcastle disease. Avian influenza: 12.5 ml/liter of water for washing of poultry houses and fogging.
- Mycoplasma spp: 33.5 ml/liter of water
- Hatching egg: 1 ml/2 liter of water for immersion or cleanse.
- Fish & Shrimp culture pond: 1-1.5 liter/acre at 1meter water depth.
- Antiseptic skin cleanser: Apply full strength.
- Shed litter, equipment: 5 ml/L water
- Footbath: 10 ml/L water
- Humps and FMD: 50 ml/50 ml water
- Spray: 1 ml/L
- Incubator: 3 ml/L water
Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to any of its active ingredients.
Side Effects
Povidone may be drying, irritating and staining to skin, hair and fabrics.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not confirmed. Use only when clearly necessary.
Precautions & Warnings
For veterinary use only. To be dispensed only by or on the prescription of a registered veterinary doctor. Store in a cool & dry place. Protect from sunlight & moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Use the content as early as possible after opening.
