23 Oct, 2017
Heart health app Cardiogram has announced that it is now available on Android Wear, enabling Android users to benefit from using the popular app, which has previously been available on wearables such as the Apple Watch and Garmin devices.
The app enables users to monitor their heart health throughout the day and shows daily minute-by-minute graphs of heart rate to help understand the results, also tracking long-term health measurements including resting heart rate, step counts, exercise minutes, and sleep duration.
Cardiogram can also be used to monitor a medical condition, with the company reporting that users have also downloaded the app Cardiogram to monitor conditions such as PTSD, diabetes, and sleep apnea.
Users can also invite their friends to join Cardiogram, even when using the app on different types of watches, so together friends can compete against one another to gain the most step counts on the Daily Leaderboard, or set a new Daily Habit together.
And good news for Android users, a new feature has also been added to the app for Android Wear, enabling you to change the frequency of background measurements from the default 5 minutes based on your own personal preferences.
Cardiogram for Android is compatible with any Android Wear watch with a heart rate sensor, including the Huawei Watch, LG Watch Sport, LG Watch Urbane, Moto 360, New Balance RunIQ, Polar M600, Montblanc Summit, and the upcoming Misfit Vapor and Mobvoi Ticwatch.
The app is available to download now from the Google Play Store.
