Pharmacology
Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride is an imidazoline derivative sympathomimetic amine. It is a direct agonist at α-adrenoceptors but has no action on β- adrenoceptors. This results in improved potency of the airway and better drainage of the nasal sinus.
